August’s Book Haul!

Beware this post will have 20 books on here! I have a problem I constantly buy books…for a bargain at least!(:

• First up, I bought The City Of Bones and the next three books in that series. I’ve always wanted to read them, a lot of people in the book community enjoy them so obviously, I’m missing out on something! I ordered these on Thriftbooks!
• The Girls by Emma Cline

I got this one because it is a coming of age story. And the blurb sold me, to be honest with you!

• The Iron King by Julie Kagawa

The first book of a semi long series, I enjoy to hurt myself I guess!

• Dark Witch (The Cousins O’Dwyer Trilogy) by Nora Roberts

I love reading witchy books so maybe I will enjoy this one. Picked this up at an antique store while I was on a book hunt there!

• Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov

I really should have gotten this one sooner and read this. Haven’t even watched the film for this. But I’ve heard it’s twisted but brilliant writing so I picked it up.

• Debutantes & Daggers by Rachel Hawkins

I mean its two books wrapped up neatly in one! It includes the first two Rebel Belle novels. Which I have considered reading so now I will soon. What more can I ask for(:

• The String Diaries by Stephen Lloyd Jones

• I got the first three books of Harry Potter. FINALLY! I’m so left out on everything in that fandom and need to join that magical world(:
• The Transition Of H.P. Lovecraft: The Road to Madness by H.P. Lovecraft

I shouldn’t have to explain myself with this one I needed more horror so I went straight to the source. Planning on reading this during October for spooky shit.

• The Elder Gods (The Dreamers,#1) by David Eddings

I picked this up at the antique store, I honestly didn’t even read the back or look up the author I just randomly picked it to go home to my bookshelf.
